Zwitscher-Maschine: Journal on Paul Klee, No. 16 / 2024
Zwitscher-Maschine: Journal on Paul Klee / Zeitschrift für internationale Klee-Studien (ISSN 2297-6809), No. 16 (2024)
The Zwitscher-Maschine is an international online journal dedicated to the artistic works of Paul Klee, contemporary artists, and their global reception. Produced biannually in close cooperation with the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern, the journal serves as an international platform not only for the Paul Klee community but also for the general public interested in the art of Klee and his contemporaries.
Established in 2015, this open-access e-journal welcomes contributions not just from established experts on Klee but also from young researchers, museum professionals, and art restorers.
We cordially invite submissions for the 16th edition of the journal, scheduled for publication in November 2024.
We aim to foster discussions and establish dialogue with researchers who engage with Klee's work, as well as the works of other contemporary artists, from diverse perspectives and contexts. Submissions may thus encompass a wide range of topics.
All submitted papers will be rigorously reviewed by our editorial board. Once accepted, papers will be edited in collaboration with external reviewers.
Submissions may be in German, French, or English and must be received no later than 15. Auguste 2024.
Author guidelines can be accessed on our website: zwitscher-maschine.org/publishing
Deadline for submissions: 15. August 2024
